Memorial Day Murph & BBQ

If you're in town on Memorial Day we'll be tackling "Murph" and BBQ'in afterwards.  If you're in town come by the box for food, festivities, and fun even if you don't workout.  Bring your family and friends out and lets have a good time.  I need a head count for food so sign up and  come on!  People have been asking what to bring.  Here is a sign up sheet is you would like to bring food.

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.  This workout is dedicated to all of our service men and women who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

WHO'S GOING TO REGIONALS?

Hey guys, it's that time of year again the CrossFit Regionals.  We'll be going out to check out all the festivities June 2nd through the 4th.  Along with the competition there are plenty of vendors to check out!

The 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games Atlantic Regional features the fittest men, women, and teams from the Mid Atlantic and South East, United States. Only the top 40 men, 40 women, and 30 6-person teams were invited to compete at the Atlantic Regional. 
Over the course of the three-day weekend, the athletes will face a barrage of tests designed to reveal any flaws in their fitness. Can they do well in long events? Short events? Heavy lifting? Gymnastics? To make it to the Games, these athletes must be true generalists capable of handling any task thrown at them.
The five men, five women, and five teams who do the best in relation to their peers across all of the events will be invited to compete at the CrossFit Games held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin, Aug. 3-6.

Regional tickets cost $75 for three days or $30 per day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
Kids 12 and under are admitted free of charge with a ticketed adult.
